I had a very lovely walk at the Dallas Arboretum this Friday morning with one of my dear friends beginning at 9:00 am. All the bulbs are in bloom and look gorgeous - everyone needs to visit! Usually the gardens don't start filling up with visitors on weekday mornings until mid-morning but the flower admirers were out in force today and it was starting to fill up by the time we left at 10:30 am. Tulips, daffodils, narcissus, hyacinths, pansies, violas and hellebores are blooming now.
Beautiful pansies.
A multi-branched redbud tree.
A gorgeous multi petaled tulip - wow!
The understory has been cleared out in numerous places and there are views of White Rock Lake all over now.
Pansies.
Daffodils and cast iron plants.
Hellabores
Ranuculous
Gorgeous snowdrops.
The lovely and contemplative women's garden.
Spring has sprung and we loved our visit - you should go!
